International Expert Meeting 2019 Regensburg

Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing host­ed its Inter­na­tion­al Expert Meet­ing (IEM) in Regens­burg, Ger­many, from 13 to 15 Sep­tem­ber 2019. The theme of the IEM was “Online Men­tor­ing for STEM Tal­ent Devel­op­ment,” and the goal was to learn from a group of inter­na­tion­al experts by joint­ly explor­ing sev­er­al impor­tant top­ics, such as online men­tor­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tion, men­tor and mentee train­ing, men­tor­ing for the gift­ed, etc. Men­tor­ing experts from Europe and the Unit­ed States gath­ered in the UNESCO-World Her­itage city of Regens­burg for three days to share their knowl­edge and research find­ings on men­tor­ing with the Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing team, led by Prof. Dr. Hei­drun Stoeger. Social activ­i­ties in the evening includ­ed a Danube Riv­er cruise and a walk­ing tour of the his­tor­i­cal town.
