Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing has been high­light­ed on School Edu­ca­tion Gate­way. This resource is an offer­ing by Eras­mus+, a pro­gram of the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion to sup­port edu­ca­tion, train­ing, and youth across Europe as part of the Europe 2020 strat­e­gy. We are very hap­py about the con­tin­u­ing inter­est in Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing and the oppor­tu­ni­ty to present our pro­gram to new audi­ences, includ­ing poten­tial mentees and men­tors. If you are inter­est­ed in coop­er­at­ing with Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing or want to vol­un­teer to men­tor the most tal­ent­ed youth in STEMM not only in Europe, but across the globe, please con­tact us.

The 2020 STEM Dis­cov­ery Cam­paign is a joint inter­na­tion­al ini­tia­tive orga­nized by Sci­en­tix that invites projects, organ­i­sa­tions, libraries, schools, uni­ver­si­ties and youth clubs across Europe and around the world, to cel­e­brate careers and stud­ies in the fields of Sci­ence, Tech­nol­o­gy, Engi­neer­ing and Math­e­mat­ics (STEM). The tagline for this year’s cam­paign is “Inno­v­a­tive Trends in Edu­ca­tion”. The main goal of the STEM Dis­cov­ery Cam­paign, is to show­case the mag­ni­tude of the efforts teach­ers and oth­er peo­ple inter­est­ed in STEM edu­ca­tion make dur­ing the aca­d­e­m­ic year while using learn­ing resources and engag­ing their stu­dents in edu­ca­tion­al activ­i­ties pro­mot­ing STEM.

The STEM Dis­cov­ery Cam­paign has been fund­ed under the Euro­pean Union’s H2020 research and inno­va­tion pro­gramme – project Sci­en­tix 4, coor­di­nat­ed by Euro­pean School­net (EUN). The con­tent of the doc­u­ment is the sole respon­si­bil­i­ty of the orga­niz­er and it does not rep­re­sent the opin­ion of the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion (EC), and the EC is not respon­si­ble for any use that might be made of infor­ma­tion contained.

By com­mit­ting to the 2020 STEM Dis­cov­ery Cam­paign, the part­ners agree to:

  • Organ­ise and share infor­ma­tion about activ­i­ties and actions in STEM edu­ca­tion as part of the STEM Dis­cov­ery Campaign.
  • Encour­age third par­ties to sup­port and join the ini­tia­tive by organ­is­ing STEM activ­i­ties or actions of their own and share infor­ma­tion about them as part of the STEM Dis­cov­ery Campaign.
  • Pub­lish on their web page infor­ma­tion in sup­port of the STEM Dis­cov­ery Cam­paign, hence facil­i­tat­ing an active exchange of infor­ma­tion among projects, organ­i­sa­tions and schools.
